Mr. Musallam is the CEO and Managing Partner of Veritas Capital as well as a Founding Member of the Firm's first institutional fund raised in 1998. Previously he worked at Pritzker & Pritzker, the private equity group then led by Jay Pritzker and prior to that at Berkshire Partners, a Boston-based private equity firm. Mr. Musallam began his career at J.P. Morgan in the Structured Finance Division. Mr. Musallam holds a B.A., cum laude, in Mathematical Economics from Colgate University and an M.B.A., with High Honors, from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

Previously, he was a Principal at Stonington Partners and began his private equity career in 1992 at Merrill Lynch Capital Partners. During his legal career, Buddy worked with Veritas on virtually every major transaction Veritas had been involved in since its founding. Prior to The Raine Group, he was the Controller of South Dakota Trust Company after working as an Audit Senior Manager at Deloitte where he served global financial services firms and worked on various transactions including M&A, IPOs, spin-offs and reorganizations. While at Deloitte, Jason was selected to serve in the Office of the CEO from 2012-2014. Jason holds an M.B.A. from Hofstra University and a B.B.A. from Adelphi University.
