EEC-CEC Holding LLC During the period of Veritas’ ownership EEC-CEC was formed through the combination of Continental Electronics Corporation and Enterprise Electronics Corporation, both wholly owned subsidiaries of DRS Technologies, Inc. Continental developed, manufactured, and marketed radio frequency transmitters for high power broadcasting, digital commercial, broadcasting, scientific laboratories, and the U.S. government. Enterprise was a global supplier of weather radar systems, focused on providing solutions to the international government, U.S. government and domestic TV markets. Enterprise was known for developing the first general-purpose weather radar in 1971 and the first commercial weather radar system, known as the “Doppler”, in 1981.
