Veritas Capital Announces Successful Close of Credit Opportunities Fund

$8 billion in total capital raised over the past 12 months

Differentiated approach and unique sector focus drive investor support

NEW YORK, NY – Veritas Capital, a longstanding investor in companies operating at the intersection of technology and government, today announced the successful final close of its Veritas Capital Credit Opportunities Fund with $400 million of aggregate committed capital.

The closing of the Credit Opportunities Fund, in addition to the final closing of Veritas Capital Fund VII with $6.5 billion of aggregate committed capital and additional limited partner commitments of almost $1 billion in support of Veritas’ co-investment, bring Veritas’ total capital raised over the past 12 months to almost $8 billion and total assets under management across the platform to over $20 billion.

As the first credit fund in Veritas’ integrated investment platform, the Credit Opportunities Fund leverages the Firm’s highly differentiated deal flow and access to proprietary sector insights, which allow Veritas to embrace complexity and act with conviction and speed.

“For over two decades, we have successfully invested in some of the leading, market-critical companies in technology and government across all seven of our private equity funds,” said Ramzi Musallam, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Partner of Veritas Capital. “We launched the Credit Opportunities Fund to expand on that strategy and take advantage of additional opportunities to leverage our strong sector knowledge and experience. The Fund will benefit significantly from our integrated platform and intellectual property, creating a differentiated financing partner with the ability to find highly-customized solutions for the companies in which we invest.”

Credit is a natural adjacency for Veritas, which has already executed a number of credit investments in the technology and government sectors, and allows the Firm to invest across the capital structure to provide flexible, tailored capital solutions in complex situations.

Since 1998, Veritas has identified and driven the transformation of 100+ market-leading, technology-focused companies that provide critical products and services to government-related and leading commercial customers worldwide.
