ECN Names Wain Kellum Chief Executive Officer
Enterprise Software and Cloud Communications Veteran Brings Track Record of Growth and Innovation
ORMOND BEACH, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Emergency Communications Network (ECN), a leading provider in the SaaS-based unified critical communications market, today announced the appointment of Wain Kellum as Chief Executive Officer. ECN is a portfolio company of Veritas Capital.
Mr. Kellum brings 30 years of experience as an enterprise software executive, working with rapid growth, turnaround, and start-up companies across a variety of industries. Mr. Kellum joins ECN from Vonage Business Solutions, where he served as the division’s President. Prior to Vonage Business Solutions, he was President and CEO of Vocalocity, Inc., a cloud communications company serving the SMB market, acquired by Vonage in 2013.

Wain Kellum Biography
Mr. Kellum has been a successful CEO with six companies. Before leading Vocalocity, Inc., he was President and CEO of Omnilink Systems. Under his leadership, Omnilink Systems became the leading SaaS-based people tracking platform in the location-based services industry, growing revenue five-fold and achieving positive cash flow. Prior to that, he was President and CEO of Trusted Network Technologies, where he led a turnaround of the packet-level security software company. The first company Mr. Kellum built, Extreme Logic, provided software for Fortune 500 companies; under his leadership the company received an investment from Microsoft (NASDAQ:MSFT), and was acquired by HP (NYSE:HPQ) in 2003. Mr. Kellum received a Masters of Business Administration degree from Georgia State University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree, with honors, from the University of South Carolina.
