Aeroflex, Incorporated During the period of Veritas’ ownership, Aeroflex was a global provider of radio frequency (“RF”) and microwave integrated circuits, components and systems used in the design, development, and maintenance of technically demanding, high-performance, wireless communication systems for the global aerospace, defense and communications markets. The company operated through two primary business segments: Aeroflex Microelectronics Solutions (“AMS”) and Aeroflex Test Solutions (“ATS”). AMS was a designer and manufacturer of RF, microwave and millimeter wave microelectronic components/semiconductors with a focus on high reliability and radiation-hardened, integrated circuits and analog and mixed-signal devices for satellite, aerospace and defense applications. ATS designed, developed and manufactured a broad line of RF and microwave wireless radio and avionics test equipment, software and solutions with particular expertise in communications standards.
