Veritas Capital Completes DynCorp International Acquisition
NEW YORK - (BUSINESS WIRE) - Feb. 14, 2005
- Veritas Capital, a leading defense and aerospace focused
private equity firm, announced it has completed the $850 million
acquisition of DynCorp International LLC ("DynCorp International"
or the "Company"), formerly a subsidiary of Computer
Sciences Corporation (NYSE: CSC).
DynCorp International, headquartered in Fort Worth, Texas,
is a global services company that provides mission critical
support primarily to the U.S. government, including the Department
of State (DOS) and Department of Defense (DoD). The company
employs 14,500 people and operates in over 40 countries. It
produced revenues of $1.6 billion for the 12 months ended
October 1, 2004.

DynCorp International provides services through two operating
divisions: Field Training Services and International Technical
Services. Field Training Services provides aviation services
and engineering and logistical support. International Technical
Services provides logistical and security services, including
international law enforcement training, logistics, base operations
and personal and physical security.
